Job description
The ideal candidate will plan, lead, and oversee the strategic alignment, operations, resources, and fiscal health of the business project, or operating project within the organization through designing and maintaining work systems, procedures, and policies that enable optimum performance.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Alignment
- Plan the strategic direction of the project with consideration for internal and external factors.
- Participate in the organization’s overall strategic planning to enrich the organization’s overall strategy.
- Integrate and align the project’s strategic direction with that of the whole organization.
- Resource Management
- Coach, mentor, and develop staff, including overseeing new employee onboarding and providing career development planning and opportunities.
- Empower employees to take responsibility for their jobs and goals. Delegate responsibility and expect accountability and regular feedback.
- Foster a spirit of teamwork and unity among members.
- Operations Management
- Manage the overall operational, budgetary, and financial responsibilities and activities of the project team.
- Plan and implement systems that perform the work and fulfill the mission and the goals of the project efficiently and effectively.
- Plan and allocate resources to effectively staff and accomplish the work to meet productivity and quality goals.
- Business Development and Sales tasks
Qualifications
- Strong business acumen in project planning and management
- At least 5 years of experience in technical project management is required. Particularly in software or application development.
- Graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree preferably with an IT course
- Experience and understanding of SDLC.
- Practical experience in software development: Java, MS, or front-end applications development.
- Adept in the latest technologies.
- Experience in AGILE project management is preferred.
- Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills.
