Pointwest is looking for a Technical Lead to join our Healthcare Business Unit. This role blends hands-on backend development (Node.js, SQL Server) with technical leadership and direct client engagement. You’ll oversee code quality, guide developers, and drive continuous improvement in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), while embodying Pointwest’s values of Leadership, Excellence, and Innovation and our culture of Agility, Accountability, Collaboration, Innovation, and Customer Centricity.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a development team while contributing to coding tasks.
Collaborate with clients and project leads to deliver high-quality solutions.
Ensure adherence to coding standards and perform code reviews.
Support deployment activities and recommend performance enhancements.
Promote knowledge sharing and process improvement within the team.

Qualifications
Must-Have:
3+ years in backend or full-stack development
Proficiency in Node.js, SQL Server, and RESTful API design
Experience with code reviews and agile development
Strong communication skills with experience working with global clients
Leadership mindset and a willingness to support deployments
Nice-to-Have:
Angular or front-end framework experience
Familiarity with Azure (Functions, App Services, Blob Storage)
Exposure to DevOps, CI/CD, and production support
Ability to propose scalable technical solutions
