We are looking for a Manual Tester (Test Analyst) to join our Insurance Business Unit at Pointwest Innovations Corporation. The role is client-specific and requires close collaboration with the client’s QA team, developers, and business analysts. You will be responsible for analyzing requirements, creating and executing test cases, managing defects, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software applications.

Key Responsibilities
Review requirements and design comprehensive test cases.
Execute manual tests, validate functionality, and ensure alignment with business needs.
Identify, log, and track defects through resolution.
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA leads for efficient defect management.
Participate in test strategy definition and contribute to process improvements.
Maintain test data, environments, and documentation for accuracy and reusability.
Provide timely and accurate status reports to stakeholders.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
At least 2 years of software testing/QA experience.
Strong understanding of SDLC and QA methodologies.
Experience with defect tracking tools (GitHub/ZenHub preferred).
Experience with test automation is an advantage.
Understanding of Case Management solutions is a plus.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Highly detail-oriented, with the ability to work independently or in teams.
