IT Business Analyst
Summary
Act as a primary liaison among stakeholders to strengthen partnerships that best meet the business needs of all parties involved. Understand the structure, policies, and operations of the client to recommend the best solutions that can be provided by Pointwest, and estimate the risk to, resources of, and capability of Pointwest.
Major responsibilities:
- Elicit and analyze the big picture and discern the appropriate level of detail needed in producing business analysis deliverables for projects delivered, depending on the audience.
- Independently work on ambiguous contexts then bring it to clarity through top-down and bottom-up analysis strategies, to be able to facilitate direction to management, stakeholders, and project team.
- Lead improvement initiatives from concept, elicitation to design to implementation of the processes then validate the benefits realized by the initiative.
- Build relationships and influence internal and external stakeholders of varying authority levels to effectively manage a project.
Qualifications
- The candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree in Information Technology (or any similar course) or Business Management (or any similar course).
- The candidate must possess at least five (5) years of work-related experience in Business Analysis
- Should have excellent communication skills - verbal, written, presentation.
- Should have very good analytical skills and can conceptualize and look at the big picture.
- The candidate must display a timely awareness of trends in IT solutions and how these can impact business processes.
- Must be familiar with BPMN or UML Diagrams
- Experience in handling projects in Healthcare is an advantage
