Network Engineer

Job Description: Network Engineer’s role is responsible in providing effective and efficient delivery of network support services and other operational support requirements that may be required by the company. 

Service: Network Support Services/ Network Monitoring

Service Description: Installation, setup, configuration and troubleshooting of network devices / Monitor network usage and network equipment

Detailed Responsibilities:

●    Install, configure, maintain and manage core network systems, network security, switches, routers, firewalls, access points and other related devices

●    Ensures the implementation of various network equipment complies to security guidelines

●    Provides assistance and support to technical concerns and troubleshoots any reported network problem

●    Analyzes the company’s needs regarding use of networking equipment to provide planning, problem resolution and technical expertise to its LAN, WAN infrastructure and services

●    Designs and implements corporate IT infrastructure that includes voice and data network connectivity

Create and maintain documentation for IT guidelines, processes and procedures.

●    Performs daily monitoring of network usage and network equipment, monitors the capacity, utilization and service level of leased lines, internet connections, and network to ensure availability, efficiency and productivity.

For Midlevel Qualification:

• Adapts content, style, tone and medium of communication to suit the target audience's background and level of understanding of the topic of conversation.
• Anticipates questions, and concerns to material being communicated.
• Opens avenues for coordination for different groups.

IT Lvl 2:

• IT1 Mastery + the following: Advanced knowledge in networking hardware and software configuration
• Find solutions for recurring problems
• Solves unconventional problems without the guidance of a lead
• Suggests improvements to work delivery and solutions to issues and problems.
• Experience or familiar with CCNP, CCDA,JNCIS and JNCIP

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's/College Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, ECE or any similar course.
• Work outside of normal work hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays as directed.
• Amenable to work in shifting schedule
• ABLE TO START ASAP OR ANYTIME

Nice to have: CCNA, ITIL and CMMi for Services fundamentals

• Fast learner and able to easily grasp new technologies, software/ hardware and IT concepts
•  A positive can-do attitude
• Good oral and written communication skills
