Pointwest Innovations Corporation is looking for a skilled and motivated Java Developer to join our Strategic Business Unit. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain high-quality applications that deliver value to our clients and support our business growth. You will work closely with customers and cross-functional teams in a collaborative, agile environment that values Leadership, Excellence, and Innovation, and promotes a culture of Agility, Accountability, Collaboration, Innovation, and Customer Centricity.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications using modern frameworks and best practices.
Build and enhance front-end components using Angular and manage databases using MySQL. - Collaborate directly with clients to understand requirements, provide technical insights, and resolve issues effectively.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and version control activities using Git to ensure code quality and reliability.
Support application deployments, enhancements, and production issues within agreed timelines. - Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance development processes, system performance, and team efficiency.
- Work effectively within agile teams and adapt to changing priorities and requirements.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong working knowledge of Java, Angular, MySQL, and Git.
- Experience developing and supporting web or enterprise applications.
- Strong communication skills and confidence in working directly with clients.
- A collaborative team player with a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset.
- Willingness to work on a rotational shift schedule (1st, 2nd, 3rd, and regular shifts).
- Willingness to work in the office two (2) times a week during regular shift
