Pointwest Innovations Corporation is seeking a Java Developer (Full-stack) to support and enhance mission-critical applications for one of our key clients. In this role, you will work on application maintenance, production support, and system enhancements while collaborating closely with clients and cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities (Summary)
Develop, enhance, and maintain Java-based backend services and Angular-based frontend components.
Provide 2nd-level application production support, including incident analysis, fixes, and root cause resolution.
Deliver change requests, enhancements, and ad hoc service requests aligned with client priorities.
Collaborate directly with clients, business analysts, quality engineers, and fellow developers to achieve shared goals.
Follow coding standards, best practices, and version control processes using Git.
Identify risks, issues, and improvement opportunities to enhance system stability and team efficiency.
Work effectively in an agile environment and adapt to changing requirements and priorities.

Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
At least 3 years of professional experience in Java backend and Angular frontend development.
Strong working knowledge of Java, Angular, MySQL, and Git.
Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Comfortable working directly with clients and cross-functional teams.
Willingness to work on a rotational shift schedule.
Willingness to work on-site twice a week during regular shift.
Nice to Have:
Experience with enterprise, educational, e-commerce, or large-scale systems.
Exposure to production support, maintenance, or enhancement projects.
